Some terrain sells itself on a viewpoint. Meljanica sells itself on nothing — it simply does what a good trail should.

A gorge is where river and mountain work against each other, and the trail runs exactly between them.

The climb splits the field, but the ridge makes the difference. Here you see who arrived fresh and who spent everything down in the valley.

The distance and elevation are not officially confirmed yet. They will be published together with the elevation profile and a GPX file, with a date and a version marker.
The trails of Stolovi, the Meljanica valley and the Ibar gorge: soft forest ground in the valley, an open ridge alternating between grass and rock, and sections where you use your hands as much as your legs. The elevation does not accumulate evenly but in surges.
Equipment rules will form part of the official regulations. On terrain of this type poles are common — they help on the climb and on a long descent, and get in the way on technical sections where you need your hands.
Because the launch is from the ridge of Stolovi. The race runs downhill: run to the ridge, then into the air, then onto the trails, then to the Ibar.
